14-15 November 2013 the ImPRovE Consortium will organise its first conference ‘Improving poverty reduction in Europe’. The conference will take place in Brussels and will last two days. The first day will include parallel sessions with in-depth discussions of all major ImPRove-related research topics. The second day will consist of plenary sessions with speeches by renowned scholars specialised in the fields of social policy, the labour market, poverty and inequality.
The conference will showcase ImPRovE research, but also aims to bring together EU funded projects that are closely related to the ImPRovE project. By doing so, we would like to stimulate cross-fertilisation between projects and foster an improved knowledge sharing across projects. Finally, the conference will have a strong policy-focus with clear messages for policy makers.
